What are moles?

Moles are basically growths on skins. It takes place as the pigmentation cells known as melanocytes are concentrated at a certain point of the body. Mostly appearing initially as abrasions or skin irritants, moles turn brown due to melanin and exposure to the sun. There might be more than one mole on the body. Though some are neutral, some can be cancerous. The latter might even form melanoma, a type of cancer. Usually, people with fairer skin have more moles.

Types of moles:

Well, there can be ‘beauty moles,’ which are considered to ascend the beauty of a person to another level. But some can be called ‘ugly moles,’ as they destroy the look. We are not dividing the moles this way. Instead, based on the time they appeared, characteristics and location, they can be divided into some types, like-

  • Common: They have diameters of 5-6 millimeters. Color is solid; an edge is distinct. Areas of the body exposed to sunlight might bear such moles.
  • Atypical: Their side is blurry. Color is distributed in different ways. In looks, they have a resemblance to cancerous moles, though most are standard. But having more moles like this might increase the risk of cancer.
  • Congenital: They are usually called ‘birthmarks.’ But they might act as threats in adult ages.
  •  Acquired: They might appear during any part of life. Their development is dependent on the exposer of sunlight.

Then there are ‘neutral moles’ which are normal; and ‘cancerous moles’ which develop into the disease. Having moles in childhood might be normal, but if they still appear in adulthood, things might not be going in the right way. The doctor can be consulted. One might like having moles. The others might not. It’s true that people have differences in views, so in precautions. “How to Remove Mole From Face”

How to Remove Mole From Face:

Science has advanced enough to provide the ‘mole-hater’ to get rid of moles once and for all. In a broad sense, there can be two ways of remedies for any moles. They are-

  • Medical direction
  • Home remedies, i.e., natural way

Medical way includes –

  1. Surgical intervention: Here the mole is cut off along with the surrounding skin. Later the wound is stitched together.
  2. Freezing: Liquid nitrogen is used to calcify the normal mole. Then it will be removed. Blisters might appear which generally heals after some days or weeks.
  3. Shave: Here the moles are shaved using a scalpel.
  4. Laser: Moles that are flattened with the skin might be removed using a laser. The laser destroys the pigmentation, and so the surface reabsorbs the pigmentation.

Home remedies include applying mostly natural substances on the moles. Those substances include –

  1. Apple cider vinegar: It contains malic and tartaric acid that acts on the mole causing it to get dissolved. Mixing a cotton pad with the liquid and applying it on the moles helps.
  2. Garlic: It has sulfuric components that destroy moles. Using it on the mole, bandaging above it and keeping things like this for 12 hours might be repeated until the moles go away.
  3. Grapefruit juice: Grapefruit juices have high acid levels. It helps to lighten the mole. It can be applied three times a day on the mole until the mole disappears.
  4. Lemon juice: It has skin lightening properties. Acidic properties are as same as both grapefruit juice and apple cider vinegar. Putting the sauce on a cotton ball, applying it on the mole and keeping this under bandage for 20 minutes might help. Such can be repeated twice a day.
  5. Pineapples: Fresh pineapples are said to contain citric acid in high amounts. Moles can be ‘bleached’ by this. Cutting a pineapple and slicing to a piece similar in size to the mole and then keeping it attached with the mole with the bandage helps. But yes, the surrounding skins should be free from pineapple juice. The process can be repeated until the moles go away.
  6. Iodine: Applying it on the mole regularly might help to wipe out the mole. People with sensitive skin can be benefited from this. The process can be done three times a day.
  7. Castor oil: It has the properties of skin ailment. Applying a tablespoon of castor oil mixed with baking soda on the mole regularly for a month might give expected results.
  8. Aloe vera: Aloe-vera is known for its medical benefits. It has antibacterial properties that can help clean up the moles. The mole should be cleaned and applied aloe gel. Then the area should be bandaged and left to dry for two hours.
  9. Potato: It is thought to have a natural bleaching effect. Maybe the mole will not be wiped away completely, but eventually, it will fade away.
  10. Honey: As some say, honey has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that can help to remove the mole. Baby should be applied regularly to get results in a few days.

Precaution:

The natural remedies are good, yes, but might not prove sound in some cases. Self-medication should not be prioritized over the medical expert’s opinion. The doctor should be consulted before applying any remedy.
