I have that same problem! A tiny mole-ish thing in my eyelid and causes the eyelid times larger, so that one eye seems more larger than the other, and you look like an idiot with crooked eyes! Have you tried asking your doctor about what she / he can refer to a dermatoligist? That is what I did.
